Essential session cookie

The contact form uses one essential session cookie so it can accept a genuine message and reject an automated one. The cookie lasts until you close the browser. On a secure connection it is limited to HTTPS. Recipe pages do not set it. If you block cookies, the contact form cannot accept a message.

What is not used

The site does not set analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or social-media pixels. It does not load optional trackers. There is no cookie banner because there is no optional tracker to accept or refuse.

The site does not store contact messages in local storage or in a cookie. The ingredient scaler does not save a choice after you leave the page.

How to control the session cookie

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie stops the contact form from submitting. It does not block the recipe pages.

Host logs

The server that hosts the site may record requests in its own logs. Those logs are not a cookie set by these pages. They are described in the privacy policy.

If this changes

If a later version adds an optional analytics or advertising cookie, this page and a consent control have to be updated before that cookie is set. The current pages do not set one.
